Job Summary

We are searching for dependable, reliable associates to join our team as General Laborers at our Cincinnati, OH manufacturing facility. If the below responsibilities and requirements match your career goals, skills and abilities, please apply.

Essential Functions

  • Gather parts and stage the materials that are needed by the skilled craft worker to build or ship the machine.
  • Receive instruction from supervisor or lead to decide what materials to gather for building, loading or unloading.
  • Deliver all materials needed to the appropriate area in a timely manner.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, and rulers.
  • Use forklift, pallet jacks and other material handling vehicles to move materials throughout the facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Job Knowledge

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a basic skills paper test
  • Ability to read a basic blueprint
  • Flexibility to work either 1st shift (6AM – 2:30PM Monday-Friday) or 2nd shift (3:30PM – 2AM Monday-Thursday)
  • Demonstrated experience working with power tools (i.e. nail guns, grinders, paint spray guns, overhead cranes, etc.) and manual tools (i.e. screw drivers, ratchets, and tape measures) in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work at appropriate pace
  • Prior carpentry or machine assembly experience is preferred

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is also regularly required to work with a steady hand, withstand long hours standing, and have the ability to bend, reach overhead, and other odd postures. The employee may be required to crouch. The employee may lift items as heavy as 50lbs. Specific vision abilities may include the employee’s ability to see near and far distances.

$14 to $18 Hourly
